Who I am... I'm first and foremost an artist, with undergraduate training in studio arts, an early career in graphic design and illustration, years of teaching and shows in painting and mixed media, an MFA in photography, and subsequent years of teaching photography at the university level, all of which contributes to the strong composition and content of my work. I've had numerous group and solo shows in painting and photography, and am currently working on a book about songwriters as well as other new bodies of work.
